What’s the Right way of Saying “Sorry” in Filipino

Neither Filipino nor culture, saying sorry to the person takes time, give it to them and wait for their response. At least, you did the right thing by saying sorry (albeit sincerely) and without forcing the other party to decide what they need to think about.


Do you say, ‘Pasensya Na’?

We, Filipinos, say this phrase to someone we offended. By saying this we think we are removing the proverbial ‘burning coals’ off of someone’s head but it’s creating a misnomer.
